Apartment Property Manager

Chino, CA

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to oversee the daily operations of a residential apartment community. This role is responsible for supporting resident satisfaction, maintaining high standards of property performance, and coordinating property activities to ensure an exceptional living experience.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the apartment community.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage leasing activities, including tours, applications, renewals, and move-in and move-out processes.
  • Monitor occupancy goals, retention efforts, and overall property performance.
  • Coordinate maintenance requests, vendor services, and property inspections to help ensure the community remains safe and well maintained.
  • Support budgeting, expense tracking, rent collection, and related administrative tasks.
  • Prepare reports, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable housing regulations.
  • Assist with marketing efforts and resident outreach to support leasing success and community engagement.
  • Partner with internal teams and external vendors to complete projects and address operational needs.
  • Respond to emergencies and property issues with sound judgment and professionalism.

Qualifications

  • Experience in property management, residential leasing, or a related field.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Knowledge of lease administration, resident relations, and basic property operations.
  • Proficiency with property management software, Microsoft Office, or similar systems.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with teammates and vendors.
  • Understanding of fair housing practices and applicable landlord-tenant regulations.
  • Professional demeanor, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • No live-in on-site.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience managing a multifamily or apartment community.
  • Knowledge of budgeting, reporting, and rent roll management.
  • Experience supporting maintenance coordination and vendor oversight.
  • Industry certifications or training related to property management.
