Leasing Agent – Senior Living Community

Chino, CA

We are seeking a seasoned Leasing Agent to join our dynamic and growing senior living community. The ideal candidate will bring extensive leasing experience, strong knowledge of California landlord–tenant laws, and a genuine passion for working with seniors. This role requires flexibility, professionalism, and excellent communication skills to ensure our residents and their families feel supported throughout the leasing process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the leasing process, from inquiries to signed agreements, ensuring compliance with California rental laws and community policies.
  • Conduct tours of the community, highlighting features and benefits tailored to seniors and their families.
  • Prepare, review, and execute lease documents with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Maintain accurate records of occupancy, lease renewals, and resident communications.
  • Collaborate with property management and resident services to address tenant needs and resolve concerns in a timely, professional manner.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and community partners.
  • Track leasing metrics, occupancy rates, and market trends to support community growth goals.
  • Assist with marketing initiatives, outreach, and events designed to promote the community and attract prospective residents.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of leasing/property management experience, preferably in senior housing or multifamily communities.
  • Strong working knowledge of California landlord–tenant laws and Fair Housing regulations.
  • Proven success meeting or exceeding occupancy and leasing goals.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor, with genuine comfort and respect when working with seniors and their families.
  • Proficiency in leasing/property management software (e.g., Yardi, RealPage) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Work Environment

  • On-site role in a senior living facility with regular interaction with residents, families, and staff.
  • Requires flexibility in schedule, including occasional evenings or weekends for tours and community events.
